These are strange, unprecedented times. Many offices have closed but business continues with many people working from home. Commerce overall is down and, let’s face it, most of us are not as busy as we were.
The temptation is to hunker down and ride out the crisis. But the virtual paralysis of business is not going to last forever. When the crisis is over there is going to be a huge surge in demand for just about everything.
Whilst day-to-day business is quiet, now’s a great time to plan those strategic changes you’ve been thinking about for a while. Maybe you want to reposition the company, launch a new product or service, improve the way you communicate to customers, create a new advertising campaign. These sorts of strategic activities can take 3 to 6 months, ready just in time to take advantage of the economic rebound.
