Sparkling wines from Lake Balaton

Tiwari House, winemakers based on the shores of Lake Balaton, Hungary, have asked us to work with them to launch their first brand of sparkling wines, Unwritten Poem.

Under the Unwritten Poem brand is a dry white and dry rosé cremant-style sparkling wine. They are natural, vegan and produced using organic grapes grown in rich volcanic and basalt soil. The micro climate the vineyard enjoys is ideal for quality viniculture with the sun reflecting off the lake and the hills blocking the cold north and west winds

creating a climate that is humid, cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

The dry blanc is a wonderful marriage of the Keknyelü and Budai Zöld grapes, creating a

balanced, fresh and vibrant wine. The dry rosé combines the strength of Syrah with the

elegance of Pinot Noir, producing a well-rounded, complex wine. Both are ideal as an aperitif and as a perfect accompaniment to food.
